Glucose is simply everywhere and Lucozeade uses it to support your energy deposit.
Brief: Direct Lucozade in a new direction. With this campaign we demonstrate that Lucozade is a drink which provides you with energy directly from mother earth – thanks to glucose. The strategy is to prove that Lucozade takes it’s power directly from nature. We show, what no one knows before. Lucozade in fact grows on trees.
Main part of the campaign are posters with “Lucozade Trees” in an ex-animated surrounding, like the desert. We exhibit that there is no further life in these areas but the Lucozade Tree. Because of its power it is the only being which can grow in secluded places. We sell Lucozade as the magic of nature, the eighth wonder of the world. A Lucozade–Tree in the desert. A sign next to it saying: Miracle. Meaning, this is definitely not a “normal” tree. There aren’t oranges or cherry developing from the bloom but Lucozade bottles, ready to pick.
In an highly art-directed poster the trees would glow in a rich green, full of life and power. The bottles seem to pop out of the tree. Little details around the trees would make the campaign fun to watch. To take the campaign into digital there will be a microsite and viral spots on YouTube which’ll take you into the magical world of Lucozade. A scientist explains how the magic works – but of course they are not sure. An iPhone app will tell you which flavour to drink in a specific situations, because various flavours come up you with different powers.
